Our gas fires and stoves are supplied as standard with a battery-powered ignition. In the majority of cases it would then be possible to install our fires and stoves without a power supply.
However, there are a number of exceptions. You can choose to have the fire supplied with ignition on an adaptor. This can prevent ignition failure in many cases, but it does require a power supply.
If you choose battery-powered ignition remember that the batteries have to be replaced. In addition, there are devices in our range that are fitted with a ventilator - MaxVent® - which requires a power supply, and a power supply is also necessary if the PowerVent® system is chosen LINK RON (!!). Our dealers can tell you precisely what fittings are required for the installation.
