2.15 Gas, air supply and flue exhaust

Check:

Gas supply
- Does the pilot light become smaller/weaker when the main burner (or another gas-consuming appliance) ignites? If yes, the supply pressure is too low.
- Is the burner pressure too high or too low

Combustion air supply
If the flames dance (unevenly) on the burner, this may indicate a lack of combustion air.

Check the following:
- Is the flue system permissible?
- Are there any blockages?
- Is the appliance correctly set up (i.e. air inlet guides, restrictor, throttle rings)?
- Is the correct roof terminal used (DRU brand)?
- Is the terminal located in line with local regulations (i.e. free from any wall or roof obstructions)?

You can find more information about the above in the instructions.

! PowerVent®? Check whether the pressure setting unit is correctly

Pilot burner
Is the pilot flame too weak (dirty)? And is it pulled away from the thermocouple when the main burner is ignited?

If yes, remove the gland nut and the pilot tube, then remove the injector (do not drop it!). Clean the injector with compressed air (e.g. bicycle pump).
