Kees Marcelis

Kees Marcelis has worked in this profession since 1988. In this time he has developed a truly individual style. Typical of Marcelis' work is its simplicity.  His strong lines lend his designs with tranquility, strength and character.

He has designed a handful of wood stoves for Dik Geurts that have proved highly successful, for example the Bora Flex; the flexible flue creates an ultimate design.

According to Kees Marcelis you have to work by instinct. “You can learn to design, there are rules and certain tricks you can apply, but it's also about listening properly, and this is something you can only get better in”, says Marcelis.
