2.17 Flame picture

Flames too low?
- Check burner pressure.(A)
- Check gasket of glass panes
- Check connection of glass panes (without gaps) on 2- and 3-sided appliances.

Flames too high?
- Check pre-pressure.(B)
- Check burner pressure.(A)

Flames askew or missing pieces on burner?
- Check if logs or pebbles are correctly placed.
- Check if any burner holes are blocked. Remove any dust.
- Check that the vermiculite is evenly distributed on the burner(s).
- Check the setting of the choke ring.

Flames too blue/yellow or causing soot?
- Check that the air intake guide is fitted correctly.
- Check that the restriction slider is fitted correctly.
- Check the throttle ring setting.


- Check that the air intake guide is fitted correctly.

- Check that the restrictor slide is fitted correctly.
- Check whether the vertical length of the flue pipe is too long.
- Check the gasket on the glass pane
- Check the position of the glass panes (should be minimal gaps) on 2- and 3-sided units.
 
! PowerVent®? Check whether the pressure adjustment unit is correctly set or whether the pressure measuring pipes are leaking (see manual).
